Recognizing Immigrant Heritage Month

Recognizing Immigrant Heritage Month

Celebrated every June, Immigrant Heritage Month aims to honor and recognize the contributions and diverse cultures of immigrants to the county.

NJAIJ Fights to Empower & Protect Immigrants

NJAIJ is New Jersey's largest immigration coalition. Our membership-based effort includes labor, faith, policy, community-based, and grassroots organizations in every corner of the state. NJAIJ harnesses the power and strength of our membership to position immigrant communities as leaders in campaigns that advance justice, inclusion, and belonging.

Immigration Services plus advocacy, food, clothing

We offer legal assistance, citizenship classes, and education for immigrants. Our Immigration Legal Services team is comprised of compassionate professionals who are DOJ accredited, authorized by the Board of Immigration Appeals to represent clients before the US Citizenship and Naturalization Services.

International Rescue Committee

The International Rescue Committee provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in America. Each year, thousands of people, forced to flee violence and persecution, are welcomed by the people of the United States into the safety and freedom of America.

Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund

Established in 2004, the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF) promotes the rights of all immigrants (with a focus on the Latin American community in the Mercer County area); facilitates access to health care, education and legal representation; advocates for the integration of immigrants; and fosters inter-cultural communication to strengthen our communities.
