Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County Seeks 30 Mentors in 30 Days

In honor of National Mentorship Month this January, Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Mercer County is launching a campaign to recruit 30 new mentors in 30 days. The program pairs volunteers aged 18 and older with children aged 6 to 14 across Mercer County, fostering one-on-one connections that make a lasting impact.

Code Blue in Trenton

The City of Trenton has declared a Code Blue alert for Monday 12/2 - Friday 12/6 - which is an extreme cold alert issued when temps drop below freezing. Weather conditions could pose a threat to the homeless population. Transportation and light refreshments available at warming shelters in City.

Aware of the environmental impact of plastics that aren't recycled properly, Trotta is focused on educating the community about recycling practices.
