Rescue Mission of Trenton

The Rescue Mission of Trenton is the agency in the City of Trenton that serves the truly needy men and women who have no place to turn for shelter, food, and clothing. The Mission provides a safe, clean, warm, refuge for the homeless, the hungry, the transient, and the addicted.

Vince’s Place – licensed by the State of New Jersey, Division of Addiction Services, provides residential addiction treatment to homeless, indigent clients and those with specific legal issues. A full array of services are offered including group and individual counseling, medical supervision, educational and vocational assistance, meals, and transportation.

Robinson Place is permanent supportive housing for single men who receive supportive services to assist them in maintaining independent living, licensed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Community Affairs (DCA).

Residents are involved in the Work Therapy/Life Skills program and receive services including counseling, medical supervision, meals, and transportation while continuing to enjoy the family environment that has contributed to their sobriety and improved standard of living.

TEACH – A Comprehensive Adult Education Program that offers GED preparation, basic literacy tutoring, parenting classes, and computer/word processing skills. TEACH offers classroom instruction as well as one-on-one tutoring by area volunteers. It was developed to create opportunities for employment and true life changes.

TEACH provides a Job Placement Program for residents who have completed their program requirements. This program is designed to assist residents with re-entry into the community by securing gainful employment.

The Outpatient Clinic is a small but growing program, providing standard outpatient substance abuse treatment, licensed by the Department of Addiction Services (DAS).

Anyone seeking outpatient substance abuse treatment is welcome. Services are provided to men and women from all walks of life and are based on an affordable sliding fee scale.
