Princeton-Blairstown Center

The Princeton-Blairstown Center, through its adventure-based and experiential education programs, promotes positive change in the lives of underserved youth, particularly urban youth, in partnership with their families, Princeton University, and community organizations.

Princeton-Blairstown Center strengthens character, leadership, and stewardship in urban youth and Princeton University students through transformative experiential education in a unique environment to advance a more equitable, peaceful, and sustainable society.

Summer Bridge Program - Combatting Summer Learning Loss
The Princeton-Blairstown Center's Summer Bridge Program is a one-week leadership and academic enrichment program that is designed to serve approximately 550-600 young people from historically marginalized communities, free of charge. Summer Bridge provides access and equity to transformative outdoor experiences.

The Leader-In-Training (LIT) Program
The Princeton-Blairstown Center reimagined and restarted its Leader-In-Training (LIT) Program in 2018. The one-year LIT program is for rising high school juniors and seniors and focuses on helping teens develop strong leadership skills, lessen summer learning loss, increase 21st-century and social-emotional skills, and gain hands-on employment experience. The program consists of intensive work during a six-week summer residential program with additional touch points throughout the year.
