We are a nonprofit agency that offers mental health, poverty reduction, and social and crisis services to individuals and families, particularly those impacted by trauma and adversity. Our professional and experienced staff employ evidence-based interventions to help people obtain their goals.

Each year, we provide addiction, domestic violence, mental health, specialized children’s counseling, trauma and abuse recovery, and other treatment services to more than 100,000 individuals in central New Jersey.

In addition to providing the highest level of professional treatment and recovery services, vulnerable residents are assisted with basic needs – food, clothing, and temporary housing – as well as with vocational training and financial literacy in order to achieve self-sufficiency.

Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS)
A comprehensive program for youth (up to the age of 21) to address: mental health, substance abuse, and emotional/behavioral issues requiring timely interventions. Offers virtual and/or face-to-face interventions to de-escalate the crisis and assess for the appropriate level of services. Early Intervention Support Services
Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic
Early Intervention Support Services (EISS) is a community-based alternative for adults 18 years of age and older, with acute psychiatric symptoms and co-occurring conditions. Catholic Charities EISS programs function as psychiatric urgent care that offers adults crisis intervention services without having to rely on local hospital emergency departments. EISS programs provide rapid access to short-term, recovery-oriented, clinical, and psychiatric and medication management interventions. Transportation and walk-in hours are available. No referral or insurance is needed.

For My Baby and Me
Integrated substance use treatment program for pregnant women and new mothers provided through community collaboration. For My Baby and Me offers immediate access to treatment as well as a range of support services to help women achieve long-term recovery. Medication-assisted treatment is available. No insurance is needed.

Ambulatory Detox
Our community-based programs provide the full continuum of treatment including Ambulatory Withdrawal Management 1 & 2, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Outpatient treatment, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and a broad range of recovery supports. Transportation and walk-in hours are available. No referral or insurance is needed.
