Special Parent Advocacy Group (SPAG)
(609) 203-5995
Ewing
Our mission is to support, prepare, advocate, and guide our special needs families into a more calm, efficient, and effective state of being.
We support our families by providing after-school care, weekend recreational programming, in-home care, and summer camp to their special needs children giving parents a well-needed break while decreasing the number of special needs children being institutionalized.
Adult DDD Services
SPAG is a DDD-approved provider for respite. We will accommodate your child when they transition to age 21 mid-school year. Your child will still be able to attend our after-school and weekend respite program until they graduate high school as long as you have registered with DDD and have been assigned a support coordinator.
Respite Programs
Respite care is an essential part of the overall support that families may need to keep their family member with a disability at home, or with other care options. The word "Respite" means to take a break from the daily challenges of caring for a child (or a parent) with special needs.
