Nicci Spinazzola is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, NJ Disaster Response Crisis Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor. She is currently the Executive Director at the Richard Hall Community Mental Health Center of Somerset County and has over 35 years of experience working in crisis intervention, recovery from trauma and grief and loss.   She has a practice specialty of working with individuals and families following an unexpected loss.

Educators today need to know the characteristics, risk factors and warning signs of troubled youth, and have the support services in place to provide these students with appropriate interventions. Troubled youth are defined as students who are at risk for violence toward themselves (suicide) or others (homicide). These students require either secondary or tertiary mental health intervention in their schools and/or through collaborative efforts with community mental health professionals.
